Those who have worked with me before know I will do whatever it takes to get “the shot”. By the end of most sessions I am sweating profusely, wet and/or covered in dirt or grass stains! I inevitably find myself apologizing for the way I look. But when it comes down to it, it really doesn’t matter how I look at all. All that matters is that you and your family look and feel amazing.
By the end of this particular “session” I was sweating, soaking wet and covered in sand. This time, however, I was photographing my own children so they are already accustomed to seeing me look less than “presentable”. 🙂 Being the child of a photographer is both a blessing and a curse. I know that when my babies are grown they will appreciate the memories I’ve captured for them. As I am photographing them however, I am fairly certain there are other things they’d rather be doing. Since we live in Central New Jersey I don’t get the chance to photograph at the beach much. That’s why I use our family vacations as an excuse to take as many beach portraits as I can. I love these, and I would cover myself in sand all over again to have these amazing memories, which to me are more precious than gold.
