Fall is my favorite season and one of the most beautiful to photograph. On average peak fall color in NJ is October 19 through 29. Of course foliage depends on several variables, including weather.
Whenever I work outside I prefer to shoot early in the morning and late afternoon, just before sunset. That’s because those are the two times of day the light is softest and most flattering. There are many beautiful locations to choose from and this is one of them.
