The Fall season is traditionally a very busy time of year for Drum Hill Studios. I am still trying to get caught up with my Fall blog posts! This is a family of five I photographed back in November, with 3 boys ages 6 and under. With the Fall foliage at its peak we decided to meet at a beautiful park in Westfield, NJ. I love the jewel tones mom chose for their wardrobe, as well as the mix of patterns and solids. It was the perfect complement to the surroundings.
It can be a bit of a challenge to get 3 high-energy boys to sit still for a portrait so instead of trying to force them to pose, I photographed them as they played. The result is natural expressions and lots of laughs.

We loved these photos! They were so natural and you captured the smiles and “glint of rambunctiousness” in their eyes. We love these boys (and their Mom and Dad), as they are our daughter and son-in-law and grandchildren. I would love to do a photo shoot with our entire family.
