I remember when my oldest was a newborn (15 years ago). I was BEYOND grateful and DEEPLY in love with my little girl from the moment she was born, but that bliss was accompanied by sleepless nights, pregnancy hormones and a different body. It was quite an adjustment for the first few weeks. But happily, after a couple of months had passed, my daughter and I got into a rhythm. I eventually started to feel like myself again and my baby’s personality blossomed. Feedings and bath time were suddenly followed by sweet smiles and giggles. THIS one of the best times to photograph children! They respond to silly noises and the loving look of their parent’s faces. Alia is the perfect example. Just look this gorgeous little face!
