At my house Halloween is eagerly anticipated every year. When my kids were babies I had so much fun choosing their costumes and dressing them up. Now that they’re getting older they have their own ideas about what to wear. My son plans to be a Power Ranger for the second year running and my daughter is going to be a mermaid. So cute! As parents we spend so much time and energy making it a day they’ll never forget. Seeing the excitement on their faces makes it all worth it.
Since Halloween has been overshadowed by severe storms the past two years I wanted to do something special to celebrate our return to this time-honored tradition.
