I was thrilled to have had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful family of 28! The group included 2 grandparents, 11 parents and 15 grandchildren, ranging in age from 3 months to 20 years old. With a group this large a cohesive wardrobe is especially important. I always recommend families stick to wearing 2-3 main colors. This family chose blue and maroon. The colors were a perfect contrast against the lush green background.
Whenever I photograph large family portraits I also like to break up the group into smaller group photos. I shot many different arrangements on this day including: grandma and grandpa with their grandchildren, all the siblings and each of the six families. It was a terrific day!
