This beautiful family came to me when they were still expecting their baby boy. It is such a thrill when my maternity clients come back for a newborn portrait session and I get to see the faces of the babies that I photographed when they were in the womb.
This little guy was wide awake when he arrived at my studio so we started with some photos with mom and dad. What I’ve found after photographing newborns for a while is that no single pose fits all. Some babies like to be on their tummies, some like to be wrapped and others like to be propped up. This little guy’s favorite position was propped up in the bucket. He melted into the blankets I had tucked around him and I was able to get these adorable shots. When I was finished he was sound asleep. I think he could have stayed there for hours!
