I traveled to beautiful Westfield, NJ to photograph this lovely family of four. We met at the park on a cool April morning, but as the sun rose the day quickly warmed up. The energy of their two little girls was infectious and I had a lot of fun bouncing around the park with them. I love shooting outdoors with kids because it gives them freedom to explore, play and be their natural selves.
In the weeks leading up to their photo shoot Mom and I discussed wardrobe options and colors. The pink and blue palette Mom ultimately chose was just perfect for Spring. The pretty necklace she wore helped tie it all together. They were stylishly coordinated without being matchy-matchy. It was a great day! Downtown Westfield has a lot of great restaurants and shops, so after our shoot the happy family decided to celebrate by getting some ice cream. What better way to spend a Saturday. 🙂
