Every so often I get the opportunity to photograph a special family event. This one was so fun and took me back to my days as a teen. Alexis was celebrating her Sweet Sixteen and I was asked to photograph the event. I already had the opportunity to photograph her at my home studio, but on this day there was an added excitement. Before the guests arrived I took some portraits outside the venue. Once the party got underway I spent most of my time on the dance floor capturing the energy of the night. Her friends were so much fun and the love in the room was palpable! I feel so fortunate to have been given the opportunity to capture this milestone in her life. She had a great time and I think that comes across in the photos. 🙂
